What are your hours of operation?

Monday - Friday: 8 am to 8 pm
Saturday - Sunday: 8 am to 6 pm

Do I have to be present the day of the cleaning?

That’s up to you! If you’re not, please let us know how to gain access to your property by phone or in the notes section of your booking. Most customers will leave a spare key in the lockbox, under the mat, or provide a special code for their garage door or security system. Don’t worry, our team is extremely meticulous and will be sure to lock up afterwards.

Who is responsible for the cleaning supplies?

You’ll never have to worry about providing supplies or equipment because our cleaners come fully prepared with their own.

Can I trust my cleaning professional(s)?

Yes! Our cleaners have undergone extensive background checks and are fully insured in the event that any damage occurs. They must also maintain a four star rating to stay active on our team.

Will my cleaner(s) show up at an exact time?

While we try our best to honor time requests, we cannot guarantee an exact time of arrival due to variables out of our control such as traffic or inclement weather. What we can do is give you an arrival timeframe of two hours so you know when to roughly expect your service provider(s).

Will I have the same cleaner(s) each visit?

We understand that having a familiar face is important to you. While we strive to provide you with the same cleaner(s) every time, sometimes life gets in the way. In the case that your cleaner can’t make a specific appointment due to personal circumstances, we will be sure to notify you beforehand and send a substitute team member that is equally qualified and aware of your needs.

What are your cancellation/rescheduling policies?

We understand how unpredictable life can be. However, because we map out our appointments days in advance, last minute cancellations cause disruptions to our commute and workflow, negatively impacting the experience for other clients.

To ensure fairness, Mint Maintenance reserves the right to charge a fee of $70 when a service is rescheduled or cancelled in less than 48 hours notice. A $100 fee will apply if our cleaners are unable to enter the home upon arrival, if you cancel/reschedule on the same day of the service, or if the working conditions are unsuitable for them to carry out the service (i.e. lack of running water, electricity, or adequate air conditioning set to a minimum of 76 degrees Fahrenheit).

How do I pay for my clean?

We accept all major credit cards like Visa, Discover, Mastercard, and American Express. We will save your payment method on file and bill you automatically after each clean.

How do I set up recurring cleanings?

Call us by phone or select the option of recurring service in your online booking. You can opt out anytime, as long as it is 24 hours before the next scheduled booking to avoid a cancellation fee.

What services are not included?

We do not heavily remove paint, scrub walls, or clean any of the following: human or animal waste, bodily fluids, bed bugs, cockroaches, extreme clutter, mold or other biohazards, carpets, chandeliers, any exterior of the property such as windows, garages, and patios.

We also don’t do laundry or an excessive amount of dishes. Please note: We only wash one sink-load of dishes during deep cleanings. You are welcome to include this service as an add-on to your standard cleaning. However, anything more than a sink-load will incur additional fees.

To ensure the safety of our cleaners, we do not permit them to clean high to reach areas (anything that requires more than a 2-step ladder) or lift any items that are over 25 lbs (heavy furniture).

Do I tip?

You are not obligated to tip your cleaners, but you are welcome to do so! You can either tip them in cash or add a tip to your online booking.
